Lo

I've been eating and snacking non-stop recently, and I'm feeling FUCKING F A TTTTTTTTTTT with low self-esteem. And every time that combo happens, I'll enter the state of denial and refuse to check my weight. (Haven't done that for more than a month.)

One fine day, I finally plucked up enough courage, so I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and stepped on my weighing scale.. When I slowly opened my eyes, I saw nothing but this.

"Largely overweight." FML.

High on Tea!

Omg omg high teas are all about desserts pastries and desserts and I've been yearning to try one for a long time, so one fine weekend, I dragged baby along although I know he doesn't really go crazy over such stuffs like I do. But I can't help having a sweet tooth right.. so I offered to treat him 'cos for that price, he'd find it wiser to spend on lobsters and oysters.

Halfway through the bus ride, we alighted and rushed a cab down 'cos the high tea buffet was starting. Lol we are super gian peng but buffet time is very the precious one okay!

Here we are, at Chihuly Lounge @ Ritz-Carlton Millenia, stuffing ourselves silly with all that sin. More sin exposed at our food blog.

The hotel and everything else is so aesthetically pleasing, and I think it's one of the leading factors that contributed to my voracious appetite.

Pwetty place + pwetty food + boyfriend = happy.
Happy = eat a lot!

Farewell, for Now

This is our last outing with the Nixons before they return to Houston. Wanted to make it a happening one by going for a paintball shootout initially, but when we reached there, we were told that a booking of at least one week in advance is required. Zzz got so popular meh.. (Sour grapes alert.)

But since we've already traveled the distance, we settled for the only walk-in option available which is the lame kind where you stand and shoot at stationary targets.

It LOOKS exciting though -_-

The whole lot of us then headed out for a movie later in the afternoon. Man! Avatar has to be the movie of the year!

Afterwhich, dad brought us to a fantastic place for dinner - Seletar Terrace @ Seletar Country Club.

Nice view, nice food, cheap cheap good good. What a hidden find!

It will be another 2 or 3 years till we meet again. See y'all on Facebook, you FB junkies ;)
