Going to the Park with the Same Sex

Some time ago, cousin Peimin told her boyfriend, Jayen, that she went to Punggol Park with a girlfriend. Jayen's reaction was like, "Huh? You go park with her for what? You les(bian) ah?"

LOL that was Peimin's joke to me while we were on our way to Punggol Park today. Yes, not to les, but to have dinner at Bliss Waterfront Dining & Bar. Haha and that was the exact same reason why Peimin was at park with her girlfriend the other time.

I really love the tranquility of this restaurant (or 'Bliss cafe' like what me and my friends usually refer it to). It's like so nice to chill, and so near my place; with my must-order spicy fiery wings.

Photos look very cui so I post small small. The random little girl was just to complete the collage but I think she's like the prettiest here lor -_- Hahaha!

52 Years for JJ

Birthday cake from Awfully Chocolate (real awful 'cos we're doing their awful website) and birthday muffins. HAHA birthday muffins! Seriously, how "creative" can we get. And if you can tell, the muffins were supposed to look like the letter 'J'.

It was a surprise celebration for Jasmine and Jek over lunch, at Brotzeit @ Vivo City.

Anyway, if you are wondering who these new faces are in my blog, let me digress a little. I'm currently three weeks into my full-time job at VibrantStyle and they are my colleagues! Work is xiong, but the people keep me going. Everyone is pretty nice so far :)

Flor's 20th

Flor's birthday with me was simple affair - dinner and chilling at TCC @ Circular Road. My treat!

Needless to say, food was great! (Click here for bigass photos of them.)

And omg beanbags are the stuffs man. They're so nice to nua on that I almost thought I lost my backbone hahaha.

Anyway, we took quite a number of photos using my compact cam, but I don't know why, the memory card bo dai bo ji got some error, and everything was erased (T_T) Damn it.

Luckily, we had some self-timered shots in my DSLR, but most of them turned out really funny and hideous.

Fighting the Waves

It was an intended 6km walk along the Southern Ridges with Sil and Flor, but blur cock us didn't do a proper research on directions, thus we ended up waiting half an hour for the bus before realising that it doesn't operate on Sundays -_-

We hopped on a cab wanting to go Kent Ridge Park, but the taxi uncle only knew the way to HortPark, so that shortened our journey like 2km? Haha.

Starting point!

There was nothing particularly interesting to see except for bridges, walkways, nature and more nature. I wanted to go to this garden at HortPark but we had already missed it right from the start and it was impossible to walk back. So we moved on for a good 2km before arriving at Henderson Waves.

This part was more interesting (not really actually, but rather, more aesthetically appealing) so we stayed and took loads of photos.

Just as we thought Henderson Waves was quite near to our targeted end destination - Vivo City, we were so wrong! (Three of us are extremely bad with directions btw.)

Judging from the map, it was least another 2km along Mount Faber before we could reach Vivo.

Luckily, no trees nor branches fell on us along the way LOL.

It was mega shiok-ness when we hwainally reached at the mall I tell you!

Settled ourselves down at HK Kim Gary and had a great (cheesy) lunch :D

Sil returned to school (on a SUNDAY omg) while Flor and I just hung around and took silly photos with props and mascots -_-

Wahaha I had a pretty good weekend!
