Took a full day leave on a 'bluey' Monday exclusively for baby and I, to carry out some of the activities which we wanted to do so for a long time!
Baby made his way down to my house early in the morning, and we set off to the supermarket to get ingredients for our picnic in the afternoon.
Frying french toast together :)
We also prepared other stuffs like 'tuna tomato cheese sandwiches', 'black pepper chicken' (from CP, very nice), 'banana tomato juice' (which oxidised and turned super yucky later in the day), and 'cherry tomatoes' (a washing job away).

Silly kettle reflections.
We dilly-dallyed till about 1pm before setting off from home.
And after a 45min journey, we arrived at West Coast Park! :D

Settled down at an empty table for our 'picnic' :) Bought half a fried spring chicken to 'gah liao' because baby suddenly had cravings.

You could tell that I was really hungry by looking at my candid 吃象!
With filled stomachs, me and baby wasted no time to start our much anticipated first kite flying session.

Two kite flyers with zero experience trying their very best to get things working.
But..
..after a few improvising attempts..
..and a few taking off attempts..

..plus a few more demoralising flying, dropping, picking up and then trying again attempts..
We finally gave up.
And started cam whoring.

Trying to cover my double chin. Ha!

The humid weather made us hot and sticky, and very soon I was whining to baby for a cup of ice cold coke. Ha. We got a large one from McDonald's drive-through and it was simply appeasing!
Went back home, bathed, changed, and then left again to our next destination in mind.
Singapore Flyer!
A ticket for the flyer already cost S$29.50, and since Jalapeno's Pepper was having this Flight and Dine Promotion at S$35.90, with a complete meal (of soup + main course + dessert + beverage) inclusive of a flyer ticket, obviously we opted for the latter :)

A ticket to Singapore Flyer, and a funky VIP card for discounted meals upon future visits to the restaurant.

Me and baby deliberately dragged some time by taking photos here and there while queuing, until we saw the perfect chance to get on board an empty capsule - the entire thing to ourselves! Total YAY-ness :D

The view from the world's largest observation wheel was spectacular!

Also, not to mention beautiful and romantic, especially at night, and with your dearest.

My favourite picture of the day ❤
