The Last of Duxton

I can’t believe the weekends are over just like that. However, good news is I get to work from home the whole of next week cos’ my office is shifting!

Here are some photos of our old shabby office to share.

Our “bar area.”

War zone.

Rubbish.

Rubbish.

And one gross sink. It looks like one in a haunted house anytime.

Mad happy that we’re leaving this place for good, but I guess I’d still kinda miss it la. Nice food, near to town, etc etc.

Added Splash of Colours

Was in the clean-up-my-room mood yesterday and I told myself to make a trip to IKEA soon to buy more picture frames so I could prolly display my personal works (which is currently ZERO at the moment lol).

BUT I headed down to the CI Fair 2010 last evening and this poster they gave came in just in time.

Voila! I hastily stuck it beside my postcard collage!

Hahaha call me a lazy bum and procrastinator. Cos’ I know if I want to bring my initial thoughts to action, it’ll take me forever. Oh man, I think sometimes when you do too much work for clients and when you finally have the time to design something for yourself, you’d rather take the time to nuaaaaaaa~

An Old Friend

Maybelle, last seen: 2006.

Only one grainy photo taken together cos’ we were too busy catching up. Four years of life can you imagine. We rambled over dinner at Giraffe to coffee at Starbucks to the simply plain talking outside The Cathay till 1.30am.

Just how much we have changed but some things are still quite the same. Lovely company and we should do this again!

I Want to Sleep But..

3.30am now. I just finshed up some work, but I can’t jump into my bed instantly.

Lol this is what usually happens after a major shopping cum trying-out-my-new-clothes-at-home session. Not a very pretty sight I know.

Best steals are these pants from Uniqlo. Don’t think you all can see the price tag but the original price was $59.90, then it was discounted to $39.90, and now it is $19.90! I turned so exhilarated that I ended up buying 3 at one go! 2 three quarts and 1 cargo. Happy much :D

Go geddit before the promo ends man. I’ve successfully brainwashed Yun (and her sis?) into buying when I bumped into them earlier on at ION after work muahahaha.

Ok gotta go clear up my messy bed NAO :(

One Whole Night of Waiting

Last Saturday.

This is Peimin and I at 10.30pm.

Basically her friends were all late (except for one), so..

12.15am, yawn. First group arrived.
12.30am, second group arrived.
12.45am, entered Powerhouse with first group.
12.50am, exited to reunite with second group (whom were still stranded outside).

WRONG MOVE.

We then got stuck in the re-entry queue forever in the sticky humid atmosphere. WTF I wanted to kill everyone.

When Peimin and I FINALLY got in >1 hour later, I couldn’t contain my huge sense of relief so I quickly down some drinks and went bonkers instantly lol.

Peimin also had a third group there – her cousin Kimi’s birthday.

You see, the whole world is really at Powerhouse. No wonder so blardee packed!

Jay Chou!

This bugger delayed his album for half a year because he was too caught up in filming (I suppose), but I shall forgive him cos’ he IS KING of C-pop.

Vol 10.

Awesome packaging.

Hate to say this, but I think it’s a unison agreement that Jay is just not cut out for acting. Heard he’s gonna get a role as Bruce Lee in the upcoming ‘Ip Man 3′, and I really can’t imagine. Jay fighting with nunchucks, yes, but him shouting “wa dahhhh” and flicking his nose, no – UNLESS he decides to surprise us by dropping the acting cool and mumbling part. Oh man, please do.

Anyhow, I’m blasting Jay Chou’s new tunes through my headphones and it’s orgasmic. Of course, he’s called King of C-pop for a reason! Totally looking forward to his concert in July though I’ve only managed to get single seat tickets :( FYI this fcuker had already opened three concerts in Singapore and there are rumours that there might be a fourth. All full house can.. and the tix are snapped out at an average of one per second. Where got people like that one!? Urgghhhhh..

The Gay Pink Dot

An impromptu decision to head down to Pink Dot 2010 last Sat together with Jan and her friend(s).

We are in full support of the LGBT (les gay bi trans) community because I can totally understand how it feels like to fall for someone of the same sex :) No, I’m kidding.

Speaking of which, there are people out there (acquaintances / 2nd degree friends / dunnowhoelse) whom actually think that Jan and I are a couple. Lesbian couple. HAHAHAOMG this is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard please!

First time in my life witnessing such massive pink.
