Been recuperating at home for the past few days, and the moment I am out with my friends, I want to chiong every single food I see.

Look, the polo bun is smiling at me.

See food already look spastic. Haha I can never savour good food quietly. “Wah” and “mmm” and “shiok!” are three common noises coming out of my mouth constantly as I nom.

记得吃 > Ah Chew Desserts. Meiting is now a convert and had since stopped dragging me and Yuling to Ah Chew.

And damn, my robot is officially lame :(

Would you rather see pretty pictures or know the cold hard truth?

There’s so much to consider before telling someone something. And by choosing not to tell does not imply that one is lying – I just chose not to tell. I know this topic will forever be an endless debate, but to each of its own, I believe that “ignorance is bliss” is true to a certain extent. (WALAU, you think social studies meh. True to a certain extent -_-)

ANYHOWS, the truth also includes criticisms which I think I can take pretty well. In fact, I kinda like criticisms cos’ it makes me wanna do things better to shut your fcking mouth up, ever.

Haw haw! Not that they literally are, but they just were when I could see them clearly the moment I wake up. IT’S MAGIC.

Had my cornea operated on Monday and it was a huge success though I could barely open my eyes on the first day. Everything was good and getting better from day two onwards.

LOL this is what I have to wear to sleep every night in case I accidentally rub my eyes. And I have to keep dripping urine and milk looking eye drops on a hourly basis if not my eyeballs will wither and die.

Anyway, everyone was so nice. The text messages, company, home visits, even twitter replies. AWWWW, appreciated them really!

BAH. I was still mad tense during the surgery. But the doctor’s reassurance was surely necessary and everything was over in a blink of eye. Lots of blinks, rather.

And for those who have been asking and/or about to ask, I did my lasik at Shinagawa @ Wheelock Place and it cost me a total of <$3.2K. Totally worth every cent I would say. Investment on yourself can't be scrimped.

And for those who are interested to know how it's done, I'll tell you in person. But if you're not my friend, then watch this video.

Oh, the way to cheer a half-blind gluttony patient up is to buy him/her delicious Hilton cheesecakes! Baby you sure know the way to my stomach MUAHAHA.

Remember my post about the Ah Neh food? As soon as I uploaded the photos to Facebook, that evil Lynn asked if I want to go back there again. I think in her mind she was chanting, “I know you want it~”

LOL, and so we were back there again, in less than a week. This time, there were five of us – more people = can try more dishes. The food still rox socks. Lion literally froze in his seat when he took his first bite of chicken.

Found a place a few shops down the road to slack after dinner. It was called LICK – Little Ice Cream Kafe (hahaha), and they were having a one-for-one promo every Wednesday. Paid only $3.20 for two scoops. WOW. So cheap that Lion and I went for another two scoops :\

When I pointed the camera at the guys, guys being guys just sat there and looked at me. (If you’re lucky, they’ll smile.)

The guys were seated so far apart that Vincent got blurred out and became part of the background. I think he was secretly pissed with Lion for forgetting his name LOL jk.

But that blur out effect sparked off a dumb idea – we’ll take turns to be in focus while the rest will do random shit in the background.

Because the portion was crazy shit!

Look at Lion’s face. He almost spit out the water in his mouth when he saw the amount of food. I suspect that the staffs were lightning speed trained btw. They loaded everything from their food trolley onto our table within seconds. I was exploding inside my head, “When are they gonna stop unloading?” and before I knew it, they’ve returned with a second trolley and unloaded some more food.

There was a garden of vegetables; four huge slabs of meat; two bowls of rice, soup and salad; eight refillable side dishes; two jugs of water + tea; two more mains – saba fish + beef ribs soup with tung hoon (not shown in picture).

WHOA. The first time I felt intimidated by food. JU SHIN JUNG, YOU WIN.

Dessert was a bit disappointing when they told us it was watermelon, but I shall forgive them on the account that they made hearts out of them. Oh, they also had this ginger tea which tasted like perfume water lol.

On a random note, I’m loving my robot necklace. It cackles as I walk.

On more random notes, countdown: four days to perfect eyesight! And I’m damn angry that both my bank accounts got $2 deducted cos’ I didn’t hit the $500 mark. Last month also like that. $8 can buy me good food you know. Stupid pay better come on time!

I spent 15 minutes removing all the corn seeds when my mates were already halfway into their meal =.=

Met Lynn for dinner just now, and she was promoting her friend’s (very shiok) life – her “not very big” swimming pool, her home entertainment cum KTV system, her maid, etc. The maid! Haha you know sometimes when you’re in a IDK-what-to-wear mode, you’ll put on take out put on take out all your clothes and when you’re finally decided, you also have a huge mess all over your bed. But Lynn’s friend here, happily struts off and when she returns home, the mountain of clothes magically disappears! Haha, and her friend also mentioned about food prepared magically at her call and so on la. Awesome maid there.

My life is not half as shiok but come to think of it, we all have magics happening in our lives too, just that we take them for granted all the time. Things LIKE, how soiled clothings in the laundry basket magically becomes clean; how dirty plates in the sink magically end up on the dish rack; how there’s a magical cup of Milo waiting for me every morning. Yes I’m talking about mundane lil’ stuffs like these. Man, what would I do without my mum?
