Girlfriends Unite

Like literally.

Loti has this clique of guy friends, and they often bring their girlfriends along when they gather. One day, these girlfriends just suddenly decided, “Okay, let’s hang out! (Without the boys.)”

So there we were, spending a beautiful Saturday morning together at Dempsey’s Roadhouse.

Doing Debbie’s “foam thing.” It’s supposed to make you look kissable according to her.

Girlfriends with their breakfast dishes.

On nom nom.

I have no one to pair with so I paired with my pizza.

I like the visual aspects of this dish. “Photogenic food” – that’s what I call it. And every time I use that term, my friends laugh. True what! Anw, ang mor food usually look photogenic. The most not photogenic food IMO is zhi char – the dishes just look one ji ba bom.

For more photogenic photos of the food at Roadhouse, please visit Lazy Foodies and drool all you want. Here is for you to drool at girls.

Drool-worthy? LOL I’m just kidding la.

Server initiated to help us with a group photo. Damn good his service.

The girls said I look like a monkey here.

You think?

Rojak Entry #4

Belated birthday, belated photos. Celebrated Yun’s at Grapevine over dinner, cake, and the most awesome banana milk thereafter. Please stay happy very much okay! :D

Family dinner at Kim’s Family Restaurant. Popo choked really badly that night and I got a big shock. She claims that it’s a norm but I hope not.

Brought her for ice cream chillax a week later at Ice Cream Chefs, and she did it LIKE A BOSS!

I love ice cream so so much and I so happy that I finally got to visit Salted Caramel.

Their earl grey ice cream rocks socks and I was busily nomming away while Lynn and Ash tried to take some photos.

Photo taken at Street Directory’s bloggers community gathering at Mookata. Very shiok Thai BBQ!

Hearty eggs benedict and omelette that Loti made for me. I’m glad that I found someone whom loves breakfast as much (and knows how to cook them)!

In return, I let him have a taste of the cranberry mallow pie I made not specially for him, but because I bought too much cranberries! Haha.

This entry is all about food! Even the title is!

Halloween 2011

This year’s halloween was spent looking like a ghost and getting a free tattoo at Clarke Quay.

Says who you need drastic make up to get in the mood?

Lol actually, I’m just lazy. Every year I have no idea what to dress up as, so I’d tell myself, “Ok, I shall do it next year.” But when the following year comes, the cycle just repeats itself.

*Pokes skeleton’s ceebee. Muahaha omg I’m so horrible :O

Seeing everyone all dressed up kinda motivates me a lil’ though, or at least for that moment.

I like the Super Mario one!

Took a free group photo shoot, and then we were off to horror films at Jarryd’s place. It ended up as film (without the ‘s’) cos’ everyone was too tired -.-

Jan said that we MUST dress up next year. Ha! We shall see. I’d prolly be playing dead at home. What! Playing DEAD also considered contributing to Halloween what!

Mac Upsized Kids Party

This post is wayyyyy overdue (for about 3 months!?) but not my fault because I didn’t get the photos until recently. *Shoots dagger eyes at Jan muahahaha.

But I’m so not blaming Jan the organiser because if not for her (and her brilliant idea), all of us wouldn’t have felt a decade younger! Hahah it was a back to school themed birthday party and we had to beg borrow steal uniforms from outta nowhere to attend!

Kok and his long… er…. balloon. And I used to write my ‘K’ the other way round when I was a kid.

Me and my classmates! Lol bullshit. I wasn’t even from NYJC.

August babies!

Nothing has beaten this cake thus far! ‘Passionfruit Meringue’ from The Patissier.

Oh how I missed our sec school days together man :’)

Happy big kids!

I think this photo was meant for just the birthday boys and girls but Cass and I buey ji dong and continued sticking our faces in.

Played silly games after. I think our favourite game was the one where we “banged” one another LOL.

Ant-Toy-Net

That’s how I pronounce ‘Antoinette’, correct me if I’m wrong heh.

Went to the Mandarin Gallery outlet with Celeste and Sharon exactly four Sundays ago. Nice recommendation by Sharon!

And cos’ it seems that there’s always a queue going on, we met at 11am – the very moment Antoinette shouts “We’re open!”

My brunch! I have a thing for the word ‘gratin’, and tomatoes.

Ang mor prata, damn nice.

Macarons galore.

Sharon said that Antoinette is opened by one of Canele’s former chefs. No wonder the style so similar!

Bloggers-turned-friends! I like this photo though Celeste is kinda blur; but maybe I like it cos’ Celeste is blur so she wouldn’t outshine me too much LOL wtf.

K lah k lah, here’s a clear photo of us and you’ll see what I mean. Celeste, wai you so chio! Beauty blogger indeed.

While a food blogger like me can only pull off with a cross-eyed tam jiak face! Hahaha post-brunch celebrated over Cheesecake Fantasy at Cold Stone! :D
