Loti has this clique of guy friends, and they often bring their girlfriends along when they gather. One day, these girlfriends just suddenly decided, “Okay, let’s hang out! (Without the boys.)”

So there we were, spending a beautiful Saturday morning together at Dempsey’s Roadhouse.

I like the visual aspects of this dish. “Photogenic food” – that’s what I call it. And every time I use that term, my friends laugh. True what! Anw, ang mor food usually look photogenic. The most not photogenic food IMO is zhi char – the dishes just look one ji ba bom.

Finally, the most exciting piece of news! I’m flying to Japan in one day’s time, ALONE! How scary is that! ‘Cos I haven’t even plan my itinerary and pack my luggage! What’s new. I’m a last minute traveler and I have way too much work to clear omg T_T But ok lah, at least for the first four days I’ll be meeting Lynn there. Can’t wait x 99!

Not the grab and go kind; but the really sit down and take your time to savour every oosh of bread, bacon, egg, tomato, cheese and scenery (if any) kind.

I am quite a morning person, but it’s not easy to find someone who will jump out of bed early (especially on a weekday) just to do breakfast with you, so I prefer having me-time instead. It’s kinda my way of having a break.

Moreover, I can have this Mornin’ Melt Panini all to myself! My first time trying it and I like it :)

Their gold class cinema cafe. We caught ‘Just Go with It’ in premier class for Singapore’s usual weekend movie price. The theater was damn spacious the seats were damn shiok the movie was damn funneh and Jennifer Aniston is damn hawt! I fall in love with her every time I watch her movies.

They have this damn cool bowling place.

The whole place is luminous and they blast R&B and hip hop songs. Got feel sia. You know how bowling can so boring.

Night came, and we went to The Hill. Wanted to Zouk but they said that the place kena raided for the past few days so we gave it a miss, again.

The Hill was not bad also la. Atas bungalow revamped into a pub.

We tagged along Ban’s KL friends! They are happening people.

And we warmed up with each other faster than I thought.

Soon, we were smooching each other already :3

Second round: house parteh!

However, after one round of drinking game, I fell asleep. This happens every time when I’m drinking in a house – I’ll just doze off uncontrollably. Good also la, if not I’d be gone like Silvia hahaha.

Stayed through till KFC opened for breakfast then we chionged there. OMG their breakfast was 3x better than Singapore’s please! (Can’t help but keep comparing.)

When you wake up early, you get to see unexpected stuffs (yellow dunnowhat bird in this case) popping by your window sometimes. This is one of the reasons why I love mornings, but most of the times I’m just too lazy.

The soup stock at Ng Ah Sio is still the best lor! I’ve been craving for this since forever.

And then Lion sent me off for my pre-LASIK evaluation. OMG mad happy. My results showed that I’m a suitable candidate and my surgery has a high 97% success rate. It’ll most prob be happening in early July and I can’t wait!
