But what if the 2012 prophecy is true?

May sound stupid to some, but I believe it to a certain extend. So. I want to fulfill some stuffs before I “die.”

1. Go Taiwan. (Happening this coming April :D)
2. Make my business idea come to live.
3. Spend lots of quality time with my loved ones.

Just 3 simple ones. And if you think it is too shallow for a bucket list, come on. One more year to enjoy, why so serious? If we get pass then say lah!

Looking back at the 11 things I wanna do in 2011, I’d say the most gratifying one was traveling alone – 9 days of Japan, more than I can ever ask for. I also accomplished almost every other thing on that list, except for the exercising and hitting ideal weight part. That, I can comprehend and I shall forget about the idea, ever.

Also in 2011, I’ve gained and lost a loved one. Well, I guess sometimes in life, it’s like that. I’ve spent the past 12 months learning how to let go (a lot), and now, I just embrace life as it comes. After all, we are nothing but particles in the universe, so just keep doing whatever that makes you happy.

The launch of SHINE Youth Festival 2011, BIGGER, BOLDER, BETTER! That’s what I’m talking about.

A lil’ background info here. SHINE Youth Festival is an annual event organised by National Youth Council (NYC) with an aim to act as a platform for youths to indulge in their passion. In other words, LIVE YOUR DREAM! I especially like their tagline, “Enough Talk Just Do.” Because I’ve seen a lot of NATO (No Action Talk Only) people and I seriously can’t stand it, and in my heart I’m like, “shut up and show me something before you speak.” Okay, I digressed. One main highlight of the day is the “Cosmo Youth Parade” – a 1,000-strong mascot march down from Orchard Central to *SCAPE.

I missed the flag down, so I caught them halfway.

Ever popular Bumblebee! The mascot parade was by Nanyang Poly, and I couldn’t help but beam proudly to myself when they chanted “NYP rocks” along the way (because I was from there haha)!

Amidst the human mass and the hot sun, there’s a “chill-out zone” by Kit Kat^® to much delight, complete with free drinks, kit kats, and all.

I was happily enjoying my dinner break with the fellow bloggers when suddenly, all of them dropped their plates and rushed back to the stage.

I was stuck somewhere in between chicken bones and a conversation, but as soon as I was done, I too hurried to the scene, and there she was..

Tay Kewei – Singapore’s female singer/song-writer.

Jack & Rai with EIC whom played a few of my favourite Coldplay songs.

Then, the lights blacked out, and it was the moment most people are waiting for.

Derrick Hoh – another homegrown artist whom made his way to Taiwan’s music industry.

We were directly below the stage and had the savoured the best view. Perks of being a blogger muahahaha.

By the time the festival ended, everyone were getting in the mood to sleep.

Articles after videos after articles, everyone just became more daring from behind the screens to out on ground. We’ve been suppressed for way too long because whoever whom has a strong opinion against our government in the past would be shot down and silenced. That’s why Singaporeans are fearful to voice out anything. We steer clear of getting into political trouble so we divert all our time and attention to make more and more money (just like the ruler) so as to keep up with our ever increasing living standards.

I think people whom think that there’s “nothing wrong” with the PAP are prolly those who have lived comfortably in wealth all their lives, because our system is made where the rich gets richer, and the poor can only get poorer. We slog hard so that our government can pocket $10K per day (TOP 30 highest paid politicians in the world are all from Singapore) when they should be the ones working for us citizens.

I believe like many of my peers, this is my first time voting in the General Elections, but sadly, many are still apathetic, ignorant, timid, blah blah. Give you one $600 you happy already, when it’s actually our money in the first place -.- However, this kind of attitude is only inevitable because of the government-administered-information that our education system and the media delivers.

This is a perfect example of a apathetic Singaporean lol funny max.

I’m not saying that I’m the most knowledgeable but I want to make my vote count. This is entirely my own point of view and you can beg to differ. There is no wrong or right opinions to begin with anyway.

Trust me, I’m still learning and if you’re one who also complains about expensive food expensive transport foreign workers competing for jobs or university places yadah yadah, and now that you can do something about it, do it.

Battlestar Galactica! The legendary roller coaster ride which got shut down for almost a year and now it has reopened! This is the kind of things that will only happen in Uniquely Singapore.

I think from the names you can guess that ‘Cylon’ is the scarier one. But, Singapore’s thrill rides still cannot compare to overseas one la lol.

I think I enjoyed the ‘Return of the Mummy’ ride most. It was a damn good mix of suspense, effects, and thrill.
